Meet Maggie
A Chicago girl at heart and a suburban expert by experience, Maggie Diedrick helps families confidently navigate one of life's biggest transitions: finding the place that truly feels like home.
Born and raised on Chicago's Northwest Side, Maggie spent years living throughout the city and was a longtime Lincoln Park resident before making the move to the western suburbs with her husband, Doug, their three young sons, Emmett, Quinn and Gavin and their labrador Archie. As a busy mom of three, and having personally navigated the transition from city living to suburban life, she understands firsthand the questions families face when choosing not just a home, but a community.
Maggie's connection to Chicago runs deep. She earned both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from DePaul University, where studying and living in the heart of the city gave her a unique appreciation for Chicago's diverse neighborhoods, architecture, culture, and communities. Her years spent attending an urban university helped shape her understanding of the city's landscape and continue to inform the guidance she provides clients today.
Before real estate, Maggie was a middle school teacher, an experience that shaped the patient, educational, and highly communicative approach she brings to every client relationship. Since becoming licensed in 2015, she has helped buyers, sellers, investors, and renters throughout Chicagoland achieve their real estate goals.
Today, Maggie specializes in the western suburbs, including La Grange, Western Springs, Riverside, Clarendon Hills, Elmhurst, Glen Ellyn, Downers Grove and surrounding communities. As a local resident raising a young family in the area, she offers clients an insider's perspective on everything from schools and neighborhoods to parks, local businesses, community events, and the lifestyle that makes each town unique.
At the same time, her deep Chicago roots and years spent living in the city allow her to expertly guide clients buying and selling in both the city and suburbs. Many of her clients are families making the same transition she once did—from a favorite Chicago neighborhood to a suburban community that better fits their next chapter.
Known for her responsiveness, honesty, and attention to detail, Maggie believes real estate is about more than a transaction. It's about helping people find a place where they can build a life, create memories, and feel at home.
When she's not working with clients, you'll find Maggie exploring local family-friendly events, tackling home design projects, hosting guests at her Airbnb, cheering on her boys at their activities, or discovering a new favorite restaurant.
